Overview

The Logitech G560 LIGHTSYNC is a premium 2.1 speaker system specifically engineered for PC gamers and is available at Mobihub Electronics Kenya. It combines powerful audio performance with immersive RGB lighting effects that synchronize with in-game content, music, or screen visuals. The system includes two satellite speakers and a subwoofer, offering high output and integrated lighting for a fully immersive multimedia experience.

Audio Performance

2.1 Speaker Configuration:
The G560 system consists of two satellite speakers and a dedicated down-firing subwoofer, providing a full-range audio experience with deep, impactful bass.
Power Output:
With 120 watts RMS and 240 watts peak power, the G560 delivers robust and clear sound at all volumes. It is capable of filling a room with high-fidelity audio, making it suitable for gaming, movies, and music playback.
DTS:X Ultra:
The system supports DTS:X Ultra virtual surround sound, which enhances spatial awareness by simulating 3D positional audio. This is especially beneficial in gaming scenarios where directional sound cues can affect performance.
Frequency Response:
The G560 offers a wide frequency range, capable of delivering crisp highs, well-defined mids, and strong low-end bass. This balance ensures detailed sound reproduction across all media types.

LIGHTSYNC RGB Lighting

RGB Integration:
A signature feature of the G560 is its LIGHTSYNC RGB technology, which synchronizes dynamic lighting effects with in-game events, screen content, or music.
Four Lighting Zones:
Each satellite speaker has two RGB lighting zones (front and rear), allowing for customized or ambient lighting effects. Rear-facing lights cast illumination onto the wall behind the setup, enhancing visual immersion.
Screen Sampler Mode:
This mode analyzes on-screen content in real-time and projects corresponding colors from the rear of the speakers, expanding the game or video’s visual experience beyond the screen.
Audio Visualizer:
LIGHTSYNC can also sync lighting with music or other audio playback, flashing and pulsing to the beat.

Connectivity and Controls

Multiple Input Options:
The G560 supports USB, 3.5mm auxiliary, and Bluetooth 4.1 inputs. This makes the system compatible with a wide range of devices including PCs, smartphones, tablets, and gaming consoles (for stereo playback).
Integrated Controls:
The right satellite speaker includes:
- A volume control button
- A Bluetooth pairing button
- A power button
- A programmable G-key, which can be customized using Logitech software to trigger functions like lighting presets or launching apps
Software Customization:
Using Logitech G HUB software, users can:
- Customize lighting effects
- Configure audio equalizer settings
- Set up DTS:X surround profiles
- Assign actions to the G-key

Design and Build

Modern Aesthetic:
The speakers have a sleek, futuristic design with smooth black enclosures and translucent lighting zones. The rear-facing RGB projection adds a dramatic ambient effect.
Build Quality:
Solid construction using premium plastic and internal dampening provides stability and sound clarity, even at high volumes.
Subwoofer:
The subwoofer is a substantial unit, designed to sit under a desk. Its down-firing design helps distribute bass evenly throughout the room.

System Compatibility:
- Windows 10 or later (for full LIGHTSYNC and DTS:X functionality)
- macOS (basic stereo playback via Bluetooth or 3.5mm; no LIGHTSYNC or G HUB support)
- Gaming Consoles (limited to stereo playback via 3.5mm)
