Physical Attributes

Design and Build

The tablet is built for high performance and durability. The sleek and ergonomic design gives it elegance and a premium feel wherever you hold it up in your hand. Measuring 285.4 x 185.4 x 5.7 mm and weighing 586g, the Tab s9+ is quite slim and easy to carry around as you make presentations or read-through material on the large 12.4 AMOLED Display.

The back and body frame of the device is made from aluminum, while the front is made from glass and protected by Gorilla Glass (always on display). The aluminum cover gives the tab a premium, elegant look befitting its pricey tag and reputation as one of the best tablets ever built by Samsung. To confirm its status as a high-end, high-performance tablet, IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 1.5m for 30 min) rating makes it one of a kind.

Stylus Pen

Besides these impressive features and functionalities, Samsung Tab S9+ supports and comes with a Stylus Pen (2.8ms latency (Bluetooth integration, accelerometer, gyro)). The tablet will surely be on your bucket list if you love gadgets with sophisticated parts and functions. Samsung rebuilt the included S Pen to be IP68 water-resistant like the tablet. It’s also improved, with enhanced tip sensitivity for less accidental clicks. And with the magnetic attachment and bidirectional charging, snap it on to charge.

Security

To limit unauthorized access to your tablet, Samsung installed a Fingerprint (under display, optical) sensor. Your data and files are thus secure, even when you leave your device to charge or get busy elsewhere.

Display

Enjoy an immersive user experience on the tablet’s massive 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, 120Hz, HDR10+ display. It could not get any better for a premium, precious tablet like the Tab s9+, which comes with 1752 x 2800 pixels, 16:10 ratio (~266 ppi density) resolution and tamper-proof Corning Gorilla Glass for protection against scratches against breakage. If it falls accidentally, you can be less worried about the glass protection; you must take all precautions, like acquiring the S9+ Cover (accessory). Enjoy great moments with productive work such as design, presentations, and endless entertainment on the bright,1B Colour, high-resolution display.

Camera set up

Samsung leaves nothing to the imagination, especially with the camera installation on the S9+. As a high-performance, premium device, the tablet packs an impressive camera set-up to get you working and recording moments and events like a pro. For selfies and high-quality video recording or video chats, Samsung installed a 12 MP, f/2.4, 120˚ (ultrawide), featuring HDR. The front camera takes super selfies on HDR and records astounding 4K@30/60fps and 1080p@30fps video shots.

The main camera is equally, if not more, impressive than the selfie camera. The dual camera set-up (13 MP, f/2.0, 26mm (wide), 1/3.4″, 1.0µm, AF and 8 MP, f/2.2, (ultrawide)) do a fantastic job when it comes to shooting awesome pictures of places, events, people and documents. The LED flash, HDR, and panorama features provide great options when taking snapshots to suit your mood, timing and desired back views. Use the dual camera set on the main camera to record 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30fps videos.

High-Performance Tablet

Operating System

The tablet relies on Android 13 OS, supported with One UI 5.1 for customization and a user-friendly interface.

Processing Power

Tab S9+ has immense processing power, with a powerful Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) installed that enables efficient power control and management Octa-core (1×3.36 GHz Cortex-X3 & 2×2.8 GHz Cortex-A715 & 2×2.8 GHz Cortex-A710 & 3×2.0 GHz Cortex-A510) processing unit and Adreno 740 graphic processing unit combine to provide a reliable and efficient processing unit when gaming, multi-tasking and working on high performance, demanding tasks.

Memory Space

The memory space is not compromised because the Tab s9+ is high-end, high-performance. Depending on your model, the tab has 256/512GB internal memory space and 12GB RAM. High RAM enables more efficiency in running applications in the background without lags and slowing down the device even under intensive use. Up to 512GB of internal memory can download and store applications and files. It makes sense that Samsung has a microSDXC (dedicated slot) for additional memory.

Network and Connectivity

The tablet supports GSM technology via Nano-SIM (it supports 2G, 3G, 4G and 5g bands). HSPA, LTE-A (CA), 5G network speed is excellent for fast uploading and downloading large files, which could be challenging when using lesser network speeds like 3G.

For connectivity and data transfer, you can make use of:

Internet: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e, tri-band, Wi-Fi Direct
Bluetooth Pairing: 5.3, A2DP, LE
USB Type-C 3.2, magnetic connector

Charging System

The tablet relies on a massive 10,090 mAh non-removable battery to power the large, high-resolution display and meets power demands by the processor and operating system working in the device’s background. Recharge the battery and keep working or playing your favourite games with the 45W charging unit that allows fast charging.
