Rexing M2 MAX PRO – Detailed Feature Overview

The Rexing M2 MAX PRO is an advanced smart rearview mirror dash cam system that integrates a large touchscreen display, front and rear dual-camera recording, parking surveillance, and a modern interface into a sleek, mirror-mounted design. Designed to replace your vehicle’s factory mirror, this all-in-one system enhances safety, visibility, and recording capabilities without cluttering your windshield with multiple devices and is available at Mobihub Electronics Kenya.

1. Dual-Camera Recording System

Front Camera: True 4K UHD (2160p)
The M2 MAX PRO records ultra-high-definition video from the front with stunning 4K resolution. This ensures exceptional detail and clarity for reading license plates, signs, and road markings in all lighting conditions.
Rear Camera: Full HD 1080p
The included waterproof rear camera captures 1080p video, ideal for reversing, rear-end monitoring, and parking assistance. It’s designed to be mounted outside the vehicle, often above the license plate.
Wide-Angle Lenses
The front lens typically provides a 170° field of view, while the rear offers around 140°, covering multiple lanes and blind spots with minimal distortion.

2. Smart Mirror Touchscreen Display

12-Inch Full Touch LCD Mirror Display
A large, ultra-clear mirror transforms into a live video screen, showing a real-time feed from the front or rear camera. Users can toggle views or adjust settings via the full touchscreen.
Anti-Glare and Auto-Dimming
The screen is engineered to reduce glare from headlights and sunlight. It can auto-dim or brighten based on ambient lighting for optimal visibility at night or during the day.
Split-Screen Viewing
Allows simultaneous live viewing from both front and rear cameras. Users can swipe between views or activate picture-in-picture mode.

3. Advanced Recording Features

Loop Recording
Continuous recording overwrites the oldest files when storage is full, ensuring uninterrupted coverage without manual deletion.
G-Sensor Emergency Lock
Built-in acceleration sensors detect sudden impacts or harsh braking and automatically lock the associated video file to prevent overwriting.
Parking Monitor (with hardwiring kit)
The dash cam can record footage while the vehicle is off by entering time-lapse or motion-detection parking mode. This offers 24/7 protection against theft or vandalism.
Audio Recording
Built-in microphone captures in-cabin audio. Users can enable or disable this feature based on privacy preferences.

4. Build and Installation

Strap-On Design
Attaches over your existing rearview mirror with rubber straps, making it compatible with most vehicles. The sleek profile maintains a factory-integrated look.
Rear Camera Cable Routing
Includes a long cable for routing the rear camera signal through the car’s interior to connect the back of the vehicle with the front unit.
Weatherproof Rear Camera
Built to withstand rain, heat, and dust, making it suitable for year-round use.

5. Connectivity and Control

Built-in GPS Module (optional or included)
Tracks speed, driving direction, and location alongside video recordings. This data can be reviewed on compatible PC software to reconstruct routes.
Wi-Fi and App Support
May support wireless transfer of videos to a smartphone via Rexing’s mobile app. This enables convenient backup and sharing without removing the microSD card.

6. Storage and File Management

Supports Large microSD Cards
Compatible with up to 256GB microSD cards, allowing for long-duration storage of high-resolution footage.
Protected File Management
Important clips triggered by the G-sensor or manually locked will not be overwritten during loop recording.

7. Performance and Reliability

Supercapacitor Power Supply
Instead of a lithium battery, the M2 MAX PRO likely uses a supercapacitor, offering better performance in extreme temperatures and enhanced long-term reliability.
Heat-Resistant Design
Built with automotive-grade components to function consistently in both hot summers and freezing winters.

The Rexing M2 MAX PRO combines powerful dual-camera recording with an elegant and intelligent display interface, making it a highly functional and stylish upgrade for any vehicle. Whether you’re concerned about road safety, rear-end collisions, or parking incidents, this smart mirror dash cam offers a complete visual record of your drive—day and night.
