Logitech MeetUp – All-in-One Video Conference Camera for Huddle Rooms

The Logitech MeetUp is an all-in-one, plug-and-play conference camera specifically designed for small meeting spaces and huddle rooms and is available at Mobihub Electronics Kenya. It combines a wide-angle 4K camera, integrated audio, and intelligent framing technology into a single, compact bar that mounts easily above or below a display. MeetUp is designed to offer enterprise-grade video and audio performance in tight spaces while maintaining simplicity and ease of deployment.

1. Camera and Video Capabilities

Ultra HD 4K Resolution:
The MeetUp camera features a 4K Ultra HD sensor capable of capturing crystal-clear video at up to 3840 x 2160 resolution. It also supports 1080p and 720p resolutions to adapt to varying bandwidth and platform requirements.
Extremely Wide Field of View – 120° Diagonal:
One of MeetUp’s signature features is its super-wide 120° field of view—one of the widest available on any conference camera. It’s specifically engineered to capture all participants in small rooms, even those seated near the camera or off to the sides.
Motorized Pan and Tilt:
While the default view is ultra-wide, the camera includes motorized pan (±25°) and tilt (±15°) functions, which allow users to reposition the frame smoothly for optimal coverage or focus.
5x HD Zoom (Digital):
The camera supports up to 5x HD zoom, which is digital but retains high clarity thanks to the 4K sensor. This zoom allows presenters, whiteboards, or documents to be focused on with excellent sharpness.
Autofocus and Lens Adjustments:
Autofocus dynamically keeps the subject sharp and in focus, even when participants shift positions. The camera is also capable of automatic white balance, low-light correction, and color optimization.
RightSight Autoframing (AI-based):
Logitech’s RightSight technology uses artificial intelligence to detect human shapes and faces, automatically framing the group to ensure optimal composition. As people enter or leave the room, the camera adjusts seamlessly to keep everyone visible without manual intervention.

2. Audio Features

Integrated Beamforming Microphones:
MeetUp includes three built-in beamforming microphones, optimized for small rooms. These mics can accurately pick up voices within a 4-meter (13-foot) range, while suppressing noise and focusing on the active speaker.
Optional Expansion Mic:
For rooms with wider seating or louder ambient conditions, MeetUp supports a dedicated expansion microphone, which extends voice pickup and ensures participants further away are still heard clearly.
Built-In Speaker:
A front-facing, high-fidelity speaker is built into the bar, engineered to produce clear, room-filling sound. It is tuned for speech intelligibility and minimal vibration, allowing clean audio even at higher volumes.
Full-Duplex Audio:
Allows simultaneous two-way conversation with no clipping, making remote communication feel natural and uninterrupted.
Acoustic Echo Cancellation and Noise Reduction:
Digital signal processing (DSP) technologies help eliminate echo and background distractions like HVAC noise or keyboard typing.

3. Connectivity and Mounting

Plug-and-Play USB Connectivity:
MeetUp connects to a PC or Mac using a USB cable. No specialized drivers are needed for most systems—it is plug-and-play with automatic recognition by most video conferencing software.
Bluetooth Functionality:
The system supports Bluetooth pairing, allowing users to use the MeetUp speaker and microphone as a hands-free device for mobile phones or tablets.
Flexible Mounting Options:
MeetUp can be:
- Placed on a tabletop
- Mounted on a wall using the included wall bracket
- Mounted on a display using an optional TV mount (VESA-compatible), keeping it aligned with the screen for better eye-level interaction

4. Compatibility and Software Integration

Universal Video Platform Support:
The MeetUp camera works with any conferencing software that supports standard USB video/audio devices, including:
- Zoom
- Microsoft Teams
- Google Meet
- Cisco WebEx
- Skype
- BlueJeans
- GoToMeeting
- And others
Certified for Business Platforms:
MeetUp is certified for use with Zoom and Teams and optimized for business-grade interoperability.
Firmware Upgrades via Logitech Software:
Updates and new features can be installed using Logitech’s configuration tools, extending device longevity and compatibility.
Remote Control and App:
A physical IR remote is included for controlling pan/tilt/zoom, volume, mute, and camera presets. Logitech also offers a mobile app that can turn a smartphone into a Bluetooth remote control.

5. Design and Aesthetic

Compact and Modern Design:
MeetUp is compact, horizontally aligned, and finished in a sleek matte black. Its understated design allows it to blend in discreetly with professional AV setups.
Single-Cable Simplicity:
Only one USB cable is needed to operate the device, minimizing setup time and cable clutter—especially useful in temporary or flexible workspaces.
LED Indicators:
LED lights show camera activity and microphone mute status, giving users visual confirmation of system state.

6. Ideal Use Cases

Huddle Rooms and Small Meeting Spaces:
MeetUp is purpose-built for rooms that seat 2–6 people. Its wide-angle view and integrated audio make it the go-to choice for tight spaces where traditional PTZ cameras and microphones are overkill.
Home Offices for Executives:
With its high performance, it is also well-suited for executive work-from-home setups that demand more than a basic webcam and headset.
Mobile and Flexible Installations:
Because of its compact form and easy USB connection, MeetUp is ideal for organizations with flexible or reconfigurable meeting spaces.

7. Optional Accessories

Expansion Mic for MeetUp:
Extends the voice pickup range and is useful in longer rooms or with wider seating arrangements.
TV Mount for MeetUp:
A VESA-compatible bracket that allows mounting the camera securely to displays of various sizes.
Logitech Tap Integration:
MeetUp is compatible with Logitech Tap touch controllers for room scheduling, meeting launching, and in-room control.
